rolling mills are ideal for working non-ferrous metals and alloys. Thanks to their compact size, they can be mounted on a bench. Three versions with different cylinder sets are available:
The base is made of metal and the alloy steel cylinders with very high surface hardness are mounted on brass bearings guided by sturdy iron columns. Cylinder closing is controlled by a handle or hand wheel (removable for adjusting parallelisms) and gears with graduated scale for measuring the rolled section. Cylinder rolling gears have a special tooting for large openings and a steady pull. An electric motor connected to a grease-lubricated helical reduction gear unit controls cylinder movement.
